High School Teams must submit an application, stating their intent to enter the competition by January 23, 2017 via this online application.

There must be 3-5 team members for each team.

Solving a well-defined need is the innovator's solution to the age old adage "Build a better mousetrap and the word will beat a path to your door." Competitors will identify an everyday problem and come up with a solution. All competitors will follow a 3 phase approach to identify and present their solutions for judging:

  1. Ideation: Exploring Ideas + Innovation
  2. Modeling: Getting the Solution to Market
  3. Storytelling: Pitch and Tell
